Jade is the editor-in-chief of The Crossover and has been writing with the publication since 2014. On a typical day, you can find her giving tours for Admissions at Champlain as a Lead Ambassador, developing professionally as the President of PRSSA, or eating a whole block of cheese by herself in her living room.

Christine Tibert

Major: Public Relations

Grad year: 2018

Favorite Pickle: those mini dills that come in individual applesauce containers.

Christine is an email queen who nurtures a love for Chai Lattes. If you need Christine on the weekends - check out the Fireside Lounge where she runs SAP events. Other than that she can be found in the CCM media hub being the Vice President of PRSSA or in Speeder and Earls discussing the overarching themes in Harry Potter.


Quinn Kanner

Major: Professional Writing with a Journalism Specialization and a Foreign Language minor.

Grad Year: 2019

Ideal Breakfast: A large quantity of Peach Mello Yello

Quinn decided she wanted to be a journalist when she was 11 years old. Prior to coming to Champlain and working on The Crossover, she was the Managing Editor of her high school’s magazine The Edge. Outside of writing, Quinn works as many jobs as she can fit into her schedule and dances on the dance team.

Kathryn Gesser is studying Professional Writing and English Education. She is News Editor of the Crossover and has written for other small Vermont publications including the St. Albans Messenger. Her one, true love is poetry and by age 5 had memorized every line to Disney’s The Lion King.
